Hotel room lights are usually very dim. So, they cast a weird looking glow in photos. When I am terribly bored, here's what I will do. Sit in front of the dressing table and shoot. Remember to place your camera on something to avoid shakes and blur effects. In this case, I use my laptop.
To avoid coming out with cock-eyed, look into the mirror and stare at your camera lense. Not at your own eyes or straight ahead. Look at the camera lense and the photo will turn out normal.
I know, I know, there are many things one can do in a hotel room. But not when you are trapped in a tiny room with your kids. So, forget about anything kinky, k?
