The above is a super crispy, super oily and yet delicous deep fried crullers. It is made of ammonia powder, flour and I don't know what else. I have a sudden urge to have some yau char kwai with almond soup. Almond soup smells like cockroaches and it is good eaten with yau char kwai.
I won't be able to find any yau char kwai now but I can 'teh' hubby to make me a bowl of instant 'heng jin' or almond soup.
