My eldest son tried his hands on making egg tarts. He had done that in college but today is the first time he tried making the tarts at home.
All my younger boys were so excited with the process because they helped with the blind baking. Blind baking means putting beans on the pastry to make it stay on the mould.
Overall, the tarts turned out great except the crust is a little hard as we probably had overbaked the crust. Never mind, it is the first time we use the new oven so some errors are to be expected.
