Many years back, I have an ex-colleague who left her job to become a full time realtor. Initially, she had to take a course and that means, no income for her. So, we were wondering why she left a good, cosy job as an accountant to be a real estate agent.
But now, when we see how well she is doing as one of those real estate agents, we begin to understand. It is a very well-paid career if you have the guts and drive to chase after prospective clients.
My friend specialised in commercial buildings and therefore get bigger cut. I think that's why Tamarindo Real Estate and other type of business are flourishing.
