A relative of mine makes me very frustrated with their attitude. All of us in the family can see that her son has serious drug addiction problems. He will intentionally displays these characteristics and I can see that it is a crying for help signal. However, she continue to pretend that everything is perfect.
As close family members, it is hard for us to tell her to handle it seriously. As a mother, one should learnt to love beyond boundary and seek help for the son. Drug rehab may help him and their family. But none of us dare to tell her because we know that she will not like to hear about it. So, at each family gatherings, we can only pretend to smile along. Drug rehab is the solution and I hope someone will bring it up real soon.
