I woke up with a loud boom

It is Deepavali here today. This means all the Hindus are celebrating the festival of light and it is a grand occasion over here.

I was sleeping soundly when a really, really loud boom jolted me out of my slumber. I started with a curse, "Shit, don't you know people are sleeping? Don't you know that it is illegal to let off firecrackers?"

But guess what? It was a firecracker but a really loud thunder. Sorry for the curse, folks. Happy Deepavali.
