Wars were fought over gold

It is very distressing to read that the Red Shirts in Thailand are fighting head on with the government. Things are getting messy over there.

It is sad that wars are not fought over land or gold but governing body. With that kind of chaotic situation, I wonder what the people are doing? Prices will fall, tourism dollars will fall, people will suffer.

Those who are wise enough to buy gold bullion are probably feeling a lot safer than those who invested in properties or keep a huge stash of money. It looks like investing in gold is the wisest decision now that the situation in the country remains uncertain.
