I told a friend that the photos I took of a lousy, rundown, unkept, unmanaged resort is not doing justice to them. The photos I took look so beautiful. The water appears sparkling, the huts exotic and the fringes of the jungle make the place so heavenly.
Yet in actual situation, the guards that try to mimic the Canadian mounties look so pathetic because of their faded uniforms. The roof tiles on the resort all appeared like they are going to collapse anytime. The planks are broken. The food is lousy. So many ugly things there. Yet my photos do look great, aren't they?
